hi. i have purchaced red hat Linux 9.

upon installation to an old e-machine, etower400id, with a new Seagate 80GB HD, and a 256RAM upgrade, and w/o the old hard drive, The installation terminates with "

error 2 reading header: cpio: black magic"

any help would be appriciated. thanks-
