migrating to linux

Dear all;

 i want  to migrate my servers from microsoft os to redhat linux  leaving  
client pc at  the moment  with microsoft 
   i use windows 2000 / active directory / isa / exchange 2000 /iis/
   ftp / file  servers  
  the problem  is i find ldap server very complicated to install /  
configure   
   can i use only samba server as file sharing / authentication server 
  for all  these service in this mixed mode ?
