I admit it was February when I last unsubscribed (holiday) but it worked 
then. There will be a bit of latency before emails stop. If doing it by 
email then the email needs to come from the subscribed address.

With respect, I do not see how it is possible to get on this list unless 
you did subscribe. The first thing that happens is that the address you 
subscribe gets an email asking for confirmation. So unless you allow 
anyone else to use your email address....

If you still have trouble then you could email the administrators at 
redhat-install-list-admin redhat com
