Er, nope.  Actually, the person having the gathering readily admits that
she can't boil water without burning it (and that's not too far from the
truth!).

I made 12 pounds of standing rib roast, scalloped potatoes, steamed
green beans with onions and bacon, steamed califlower with rosemary and
thyme, and a green salad.  I supplied cinnamon ice cream (a speciality) 
and oatmeal cookies for dessert, although other brought other desserts
and appetizers (whew!).

I carved the roast wearing a Grinch mask, too.  The kids thought it was
hysterical, but the oldest one was only 8.  One must play to one's
audience, you know!

Well, I survived last night and here I am at the office, so I guess I
made it!  Now I have to finish wiring the network for our new office
suite.  Hooo, boy!
