The value in /proc/sys/kernel/ctrl-alt-del was indeed
0. However when I used the backspace - delete key, the
system did respond and rebooted. So I guess I was
using the wrong key. Any suggested link where I could
read up on changing this key assignment to the delete
key that is below the Insert key?
Thanks all for your suggestions.
