I think you have put your finger on it! The routing
table is as follows -
Destination Gateway GenMask Flags Iface
10.3.1.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U eth0
127.0.0.1 0.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 U lo
0.0.0.0 10.3.1.254 0.0.0.0 UG eth0
I have skipped the MSS column which is set to 40 for
all the three entries above, Window which is 0 and
irtt which is also 0.
Shouldn't the gateway for 10.3.1.0 be 10.3.1.23?
