Hi Mike,
Ok the problem is this. I have an entry in my routing
table that reads -
Dest Gateway Genmask Flags ... Iface
10.3.1.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 40 0 eth0
127.0.0.1 0.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 U 40 0 lo
0.0.0.0 10.3.1.254 0.0.0. UG 40 0 eth0
The other entries seem to be ok except for the first
one. Shouldn't the gateway in that read 10.3.1.23, the
adapter of the machine? So I tried deleting the entry
and adding an entry with this info, but I am not able
to get the syntax right.
I have been trying various things out by reading man
route but since I am new to the unix world, I have not
yet managed to get it right. Can you or somebody
please send me teh right syntax?
Thanks,
Ajit
