We heard you. Are you sure there's no such driver? It'd be the
"advansys.o" driver, and I think that's on the CD. If not, make a
floppy from the "images/drvblock.img" file on the CD:
mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
dd if=/mnt/cdrom/images/drvblock.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=512
umount /mnt/cdrom
The floppy is your driver disk. I just checked and advansys.o is part
of it.
Yeah. Thanks to a buddy of mine on a local list, I realized that there was a
second driver disk, and that fixed it. I will be installing Monday, as it's
almost quitting time. :-)
Thanks for the help!
Sorry about the delay. I've been REAL busy today. I HATE Fridays
on the Internet:
Client: "Hey, my website's down!"
Us: "What did you do just before you noticed it was down?"
C: "I deleted the files in order to update it."
U: "Hoooo, boy. Uh, huh."
C: "YOU HAVE TO FIX IT NOW!"
U: "How much money do you have to bribe us with, you twit!"
