Yes, this is a WinXP Prof/ RedHat System. I'm not sure what you mean when
you reference 'single user mode'. If this possible a kudzu problem, what
should I try to test this?

This really helpful when I was in the install process and I am fairly sure
that RedHat did indeed install correctly to disc.
I'm using a Compaq EVO 1020v and I have searched Google both groups and
general and cannot find a solution.

My problem is that no matter how many of the boot commands I enter,
specifically nodma pci=biosirq noapic apm=off
RedHat hangs on boot with the last few lines being displayed:
Partition check:
hda:
====>>>> Have you tried bringing the system up in single user mode?

Anyone out there have some pointers on this?
