Large numbers of errors in mailman

I am getting a large # of error files (several thousand a day) in my
/var/log/mailman directroy.  Each file is empty.  The directory size is
eating up my virtual memory space and disk space.

Where do I look for the problem.  It is RH 7.3.  I have 2 other systems that
do not show the same symptoms.
