If you use Evolution, Netscape or Mozilla, you don't need fetchmail.
All it does is perform POP or IMAP operations (just like the others
do) and put it in your local mailbox.
If you decide you want to continue using fetchmail, then make sure
you have the imap RPM installed and enable (and start) the imap service
through redhat-config-service. Then configure your mail client to
perform IMAP operations using your local system as the IMAP server.
