Installation Problem?

Hallo,

I have ASUS A7V266-E Motherboard with AMD 1700+ XP and WesternDigital 80GB JB Harddisk and Nvida GeForce2 MX 400.

I tried to install Redhat on it in 2 ways.

1- : After windows partition ( windows partitions is 20GB).

2-: without windows partition. only redhat linux.

 

during Installtion I can partition my HD without problem, but when it start installation process of packages, the computer make beep beep and then only black screen- keyboard and mouse doesn't work also-.

 

for your note:

I have tried that with Redhat 8.0 & 7.0 and Mandrake 9.0 and Debian 3.0.

with debian 3.0 with kernel 2.2.0 I can install it and boot it. with kernel 2.4 doesn't work, but I know Redhat 7.0 is also has kernel 2.2.0
