PS2 mouse not working in RH7.3

Hello,
I have a RH 7.3 pc that I just installed. The mouse will hover in the lower
left hand corner and stay there. If you try to move it whatever windows are
open flashes and there is no control.

How do I correct this problem. I have searched the archives but don't know
what is going on.

I have a MS PS2 mouse 2 button. I have also tried a PS2 Fellows 2 button
mouse and it does the same thing.

Same mice works well in Win98 (as I can dual boot)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
