RedHat 8.0 X-Windows Problem After Install

Jello,

I just installed RH 8.0 on a new machine and successfully completed the
graphical install.  When my system reboots, however, I cannot get the X
Windows desktop to start.  When I type STARTX at a prompt after logging in, I
am taken to an XTERM screen with simply a small terminal window, no desktop. 
If I exit from that, I see the following error:

"You selected FVM2 as window maanger but your install does not appear to be
functional.  The executable /usr/X11R6/bin/fvm2 was not found on your system. 
Resuming with TWM"

I thought maybe a file somehow did not get copied during install so I
reinstalled RH after reformatting but the same error still occurs.  Has anyone
run across this before that can help?
