Hello
[RedHatLinux 8]
I changed the default 'US' keyboard to 'UK' in the installation process.
I have used "loadkeys us" and have successfully changed it so that it prints
the correct characters (particularly | \ and ~ ) when booted up in text mode.
But when I go to Gnome and start to use a Terminal window, they are wrong.
Worse still - | is nowhere to be found, which is rather restrictive!
I have also used the installation CD and the Update function but it hasn't
changed the Gnome corruptions to key presses.
Is there a graphics keyboard config I don't know about or should I be
thinking about a complete re-install?
Thanks
Bill
