I checked and double-checked prior to touching anything.
I only removed those messed-up former Mandrake 9.0 partitions.
I have been using RED HAT for several hours after deleting those partitions.
No problem. So the RED HAT partitions are fine.
A couple of hours later, I installed the new Mandrake 9.1 release. Since then
I have to deal with it's LILO.
In the meantime, I know the RED HAT kernel(s) are in hda6.
