Thanks Bob, Mark and Rick,
You're really greats sports.
I should confess, I've been off-line most of the afternoon.
I messed it up... :-(
So I choose for the short pain; deleted all Linux partitions and
reinstalled RedHat from scratch. There wasn't any data involved, anyway.
Now I got a fine looking partition table!
I made a brand new boot floppy; I will eternally remember Rick's advise.
In my language we say: "A mule will never hurt himself at the same rock
twice."
