DNS Cache

I am running through a 28,8 link to my ISP (Bad phone Lines)  I am using
Linux as a router with shorewall as a firewall.  I would like a DNS
cache/proxy so I can cleanly go to sites without physically checking my
phone lines for DNS server avaialbility.

I searched redhat and google using the term DNS Cache, and DNS proxy.  Also
looked at sorceforge.net.

Any pointers on this?
