installing RH9 on an XP machine

So, you've all told me how to install it on a new computer. I partition
XP, and leave the rest unpartitioned.

One more Q.
I have a computer that has Xp pro already installed and sees the entire
HDD as NTFS.

Can I install RH9 on it without reformating / losing the data?
