What do I need to do to set up a windows share to back my laptop up to.
I currently am printing to a printer spooled on a the same windows XP
box, that I would like to back my laptop up to.
The windows has a spare 10 GIG drive, that I can re-format to FAT32,
then what do I need to do to connect to it? Using RH9!
After I get that figured I will post a note about backup stratagy, what
directory should be backed up, kernel home etc. I have two other
laptops in the house, bth windows boxes the wife and kids hit a button
(runs syncronize it!) and copies the contents of their my Documentrs
folder to a shared drive. Hardest thing about that was getting them to
save everything in the My Documents folder.....
I might like to set up a cron job that does a similar thing on my RH9
laptop.
Thanks
