I upgraded to 2.4.20-18.8 because the compaq drivers needed 2.4.18-24, and I noticed redhat's site, by default shy's you away from the older kernel versions.
No problems.. But they wrote some of their drivers/software specific to certain kernel versions and the -nodep and -force options DON'T work against these RPMs. (REALLY annoying.) Called compaq and they want $230 an hour to talk to me about their software driver problem. (OVER THE EDGE annoying.)
So.. How do I downgrade to 2.4.18-24. I have the kernel, just need to know how without blowing up the system. I upgraded it the first time using rpm -Uvh I believe.
Thanks,
Travis
