We understood that you like that site. However it's not the ONLY source
for RPMs, and RPMs are not the only way to install software. I, for
instance, had to install XMMS from source for it to read MP3. For some
strange reason RH took out support for MP3 on their distro... and ALL I
have are MP3... and I'm not in the mood of ripping ALLLLLLL over again
but in OGG. Is there a tool to do that automatically??? (migrate from
MP3 to OGG).
I Don¿t have xine installed either... I think XD2 had something to do
with that...
Can I tell RPM that I installed CERTAIN package from source so it allows
me to install RPMs that need tha package (don't want to do --nodep)???
how?
