Intel 865 chipset SATA

Hi Guys,

Does any one of you use Seagate SATA drive on an Intel 865 based
motherboard?  I cannot make it work!!!

I installed RH9 on a PATA drive.  Then I attached the SATA drive
and problem comes.  RH sees the SATA drive.  But it stops at
hde.  I upgrade the kernel to 2.4.21 and find no difference.  Do
you know the solution?
