Hi,
I'm trying (finally) to set up RH9 with /boot on an EIDE drive and /,
/usr, /var and everything else on a 1394 drive. However Disk Druid is not
allowing me to get to the 1394 drive. In another console window I can use
fdisk and see the drive is there, so I need a way to get the install program
to also use the 1394 drive.
Disk druid may not support "simulated" SCSI drives (like the 1394).
That requires the "sg" driver. You could install and use fdisk to
partition it, as you said fdisk sees it.
Might this be a SCSI issue? Do I need to pass any specific parameters at
the command line to get it to handle 1394/scsi drives? I've never install
Linux on SCSI.
I think it's an "sg" issue, not a SCSI issue (I've installed HUNDREDS of
RHs on SCSI drives).
