Re: redhat 9 fasttrack100 lite



should i put the main drive on ide1 to install rh9 and then install the
drivers and switch it back (and then duplicate the drive)?  should i put
both drives for raid 1 on the same channel or on ide3 and ide4?

what i did was this:

installed both wd 80g 8mb 1 on ide3 and 1 on ide4.  installed rh9, seemed to
install fine.  it had already created the array in raid 0 so i had to delete
that and change it to 1.  i hadn't added the 2nd drive ot the raid yet.
after installing and then rebooting it added the 2nd drive to raid 0
array.....and said the 1st on raid 1 was "critical" even though the drive
was working fine.  i haven't done anything else :\
