RE: SAMBA printing

OK, I had the time to experiment last night. It seems the system tries to
send the print job 3 times before it deletes it.

Any ideas?

lpq -a no printable jobs in queue - removing job

lpstat -a accepting requests

About the time I ran these my son shut down his computer to go to bed so I
wasn't able to play further. OH, both of these statements were referring to
his printer.

Is the job still in the queue ("lpq -a")? Does the printer show
as ready ("lpstat -a")?
