Hi ,
I am installing redHat 9 on my PC that originally has Windows98 and Windows
2000 as the MBR optionsi.e during startup i get an option of loading either
! . I created space for Linux and am gonna be installing it. Now I need
to very clearly know where to write the GRUB to !!!!
MBR or first sector of Boot partition .
this decision can mean a lot to me . I need help on this issue .
If I write GRUB to the MBR , do I need to add references to Win 98 and
Win 2k to the GRUB ?
If i dont write GRUB to the MBR , how will I normally boot into both Win
98 , Win2k and Linux ?
I am really unclear about these scenarios and need some advice from someone
who has done this !!!!
Help needed !
Thanks
