ohci-1394 problem when installing

hi,

 i am trying to install RH 9.0 on a compaq presario
2500 laptop. When it boots from the cd it hangs up at
the initial screen where it says: "Loading ohci1394
driver".....

 Please help, how do i disable this so that it does
not do this during the install....
