hi,
i installed redhat and now when it boots, the system
hangs at "Checking New Hardware".
Please let me know what should i do ????
Boot again, but enter "linux single" at the boot: prompt. The system
will come up in single user mode. At that point, enter "ntsysv" and
scroll down until you see "kudzu" highlighted. Hit the spacebar to
remove the "*" from that line, hit TAB to get to the OK button and hit
the ENTER key. This turns off kudzu, which is what sends out that
"Checking new hardware" message.
To reboot, simply enter "reboot".
