ColdFusion MX on Red Hat 9

I tried installing ColdFusion MX for Linux on Red Hat 9, and it hangs at two 
places: when I run the final install step /opt/coldfusionmx/bin/coldfusion 
start , and when I restart Red Hat 9 (when it tries to start the ColdFusion 
service). (In the latter case, I ssh'ed in and deleted coldfusionmx from 
/etc/init.d and restarted with alt+ctrl+del). I then looked up Macromedia's 
site and they've only mentioned support for up to Red Hat 7.2. Is there 
something about the diff between Red Hat 7.2 and 9 that prevents 9 from 
working with CFMX? Any ideas?
