Those are source headers.

No.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do. If you have an Apache
installation that is satisfactory except for some configuration
changes, you don't need the source or to reinstall anything.
Your home page is /var/www/html/index.html. Your config files are
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and /etc/httpd/conf.d/*.conf.
