DHCP-DNS in a Windows 2000 domain

Thanks to a great deal of help from Rick (thanks a
lot, Rick), I have my RHL9 client set up to accept a
hostname from a DHCP server running on Windows 2000.

However, the DHCP server is not setting this name into
the DNS server for the RHL9 box while it can do so
properly for the windows boxes. I know that this is
really a question for a Windows list but in case
someone has managed to do this (get Windows 2000 DHCP
server to set a hostname into a Windows 2000 DNS
server for a RHL client) please let me know how you
did it.
