I have not yet updated my 7.2 system with apache, PHP, mySQL and TOMCAT.
Since it is running perfectly, and id do not want to bother with upgrading
APACHE twice, I am leaving it for now.

A couple key items made this easier.
1.  All hardware was on the approved list.
2.  I didn't have to worry about dual booting a Windows system.


I maintain 6000 Windows PC from my office in Central MN.  I know a little
about the beasts.  I do feel Office is the best product on the market so I
am only bigoted at the personal OS level.

If the average technical user put as much time in learning Linux as they did
windows, I think the difficulty is a wash.  The average non-technical user
shouldn't have to worry about the OS.
