Re: Apache - 403 Forbidden with localhost



Did you check your local firewall?  In the RH 9 GUI Gnome there is a Redhat
in the lower left corner.

 Go RH GUI/System Settings/Security Level.  I chose Customize and check the
setting I want.  You can edit this by hand, but I will let the gurus
describe that.

Also check RH/System settings/Server Setting/HTTP,  It is a simple way to
look at your basic apache config file

RH/System Settings/Server Settings/Services has a list of what you have
turned off and on, and what you can turn on at start time.
