I am going crazy. My kppp doesn't seem to want to set the default router.
Internal network
192.168.2.1-150 Actually only 4 systems
Linux router has address of 192.168.2.1
I have kppp set to act as the default router.
When the system dials in the local is xxx.xxx.xxx.174
The remote is xxx.xxx.xxx.10
I am using masquerading with the local network pointing to ppp0
When connected I can ping from any system including the fw/router/ppp host
192.168.2.1
192.168.2.x where x is any system on the local network
Xxx.xxx.xxx.174 local ppp address from ISP
Xxx.xxx.xxx.10 remote ppp address from ISP
I cannot ping anything outside of ISP. I get destination unreachable.
It is like I do not have a default route set or my ISP is stopping me. If I
connect any of the machines directly with dial up networking, everything
seems to work (except the fw/router/ppp host)
What am I do wrong. I do have the defaultrouter box checked in kppp.
