Re: RE: difficulty installing version 9



It may be a good idea to use a partioning tool, like Partition Magic, to "secure erase" the desk.  This way, all former data will be overwritten which results in a "clean" disk.
Do not attempt to (re)format the disk with anything else but RH 9. 
You will avoid conflicts, as I had to deal with, when I formatted the EXT 3 file system, using Partition Magic prior to installing RH9.
