Opening a port

Hey guys I'm scratching my head over this problem.

I need to open a port on my rh 8 server for ssh, I need to know how to
open port 22, does anyone know? (I'm in text mode only) . I know it's
iptables but everything I've read doesn't do it.(this is the default
firewall that comes with red hat 8)
