dial-up earthlink

Hey folks........I'm going to be away from
my computer a couple of weeks (hospital, unfortunately)
and am trying to find a way to connect to my home
machine while I'm gone.

earthlink has a "free 30 day" deal, and for the cost,
it's damned hard to beat that.

Has anyone had experience with dialing in to earthlink
with Linux (RH 9.0 probably)?

Guess my real concern is the standard,
* Here is the MS  .EXE, just run it and it'll install. or
* We don't support Linux *click*

BTW......I have NEVER used a dial-up connection with
linux (Cable modem ONLY).  Anything I should know here?
Anything special I need to install at install time?
