Crashing during install

Please help I have treid to install RedHat 9 inside vmware virtual machine booting from a CD, the cd checks ok and then the system tries to launch the xwin environment for teh remainder of teh install process I see that teh display is not recognised.

 

I get:

XIO: fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on X server

       after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining

install exited abnormally

sending kill signals .... done

disabling swap...

unmounting filesystems...

        /mnt/runtime done

       disabling /dev/loop0

       /proc/bus/usb done

       /proc done

       /dev/pts done

       /tmp/ramfs done

      /mnt/source done

you may safely reboot your system

 

 

If any body knows what is going on I would love to hear.
