One idea would be a new (install as second) harddrive (pretty cheap
these days). Second, perhaps use parted utility to resize existing
partitions (backup first like your mom always told you!). Good luck.

Ken,Thanks for the reply. Couple questions:
1) Is it safe to resize /usr?
2) What would be the safest way to resize /usr? Is there a good document for showing how to resize /usr?
