If you're trying to do something like adding a
shortcut to your desk top then do the following:
Place your cursor anywhere on the desk top and right
click, a pop up menu will show up
Select "New Launcher" from that
A pop up window will appear
Fill in the fields on that window, including naming
the application that the shortcut will invoke
If you're adding applications as buttons to your quick
launch (the panel on the bottom of the desk top) then
do the following:
place your cursor on the panel and right click, a pop
up menu will appear
Choose Add to Panel, Another pop will show up
Choose Launcher and you'll be able to choose from all
the applications the one you want placed on the panel.
