hi there
i am trying to write the ISO images of RHL 9.0 on CD's using xCDRoast
and Nautilus's inbuilt
Cdwriter utility .I am using the genuine 700 blank CD's for this. But
still both of them end up saying
"not enough space on disk "( need at least 646 MB free ) .
While doing this ...i must mention that
my linux is installed on /dev/hda3 ----> 400 MB free
but iso images were downloaded on /dev/hda5 ---> 1.2 GB free
mounted on /mnt/windows (its a windows partition added in /etc/fstab
to mount at boot time)
I've only tried burning a CD with the files on a windows partition once,
and it did not work (I don't remember the error message). As soon as I
moved the files onto an ext2 partition it worked. I don't know if this
is general or there was something else going on in my case, but you
could try burning a small file located on an ext2/3 partition and see if
it works.
Hope the helps
Chris
