Installing a new program

I just upgraded to RedHat 9 and went to install a new program using RPM.
Looked all over and couldn't find the old Gnome program but I found one
called Add/Remove programs.  Looks nice but I can't see how to add a program
that it doesn't already know about.  I ended up doing an rpm -i **** to
install it but a nice graphical program is easier to teach the kids with.

Any suggestions?
