There is a directory /etc/skel
Anything u put in threre is copied in the /home/<username> for every
<username> u create. So if you consider that everything u put on your
desktop is stored in a directory. As a user execute ls -la in your home
dir. You will realise that there are direcories created either for kde
and gnome.
I think that you know have a directive to start playing. Otherwise just
pick up your favorite scripting lunguage and then the limit is just your
imagination.
I hope I helped

Hello again,
I don't beleive I got an response back on this question so I am just

it again.
Is there a way I set certain program icons as the default for everyone
that
logs into the machine.
Running RH9. Primarily KDE or Gnome environments.
Thanks again in advance.
