Can someone please explain to me what these are and how I can get rid of them? I don't have anything in modules.conf that references this, so I'm not sure where it's getting this from ?

If this was an upgraded system and the old system used to use ALSA sound modules, these are leftovers from that and may be safely ignored. If it's a newer system, you're probably trying to load some driver that uses other modules to accomplish thing (e.g. vid4lin or something like it). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rick Stevens, Senior Systems Engineer rstevens vitalstream com - - VitalStream, Inc. http://www.vitalstream.com - - - - IGNORE that man behind the keyboard! - - - The Wizard of OS - ----------------------------------------------------------------------
