I think I own four books on Linux, but I don't think I've cracked one
in a year. I rely mostly on online docs such as RedHat's Fine
Manuals:
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/
Then there's the Linux Documentation Project's HOWTOs, guids, and
FAQs:
http://en.tldp.org/
And on your machine are the man (e.g. "man ls") and info pages.
