Hi all,
If there an easy way to tell whether the Quarterly Update is applied
to the system? My system has Quarterly Update2 applied, is there a
way I can prove to my user that the udpate is applied? Is there a
file which logs the updates applied to the system?
Thanks in advance for all your help.

Do you mean up2date? There's a log file for the up2date agent activity
in /var/log/up2date so you can see what's been downloaded, what 's
actually took place and when this this happened.
Or in Gnome GUI, go to HAT > SYSTEM TOOLS > SYSTEM LOGS and its under
"Update Agent Log".
