problems installing samba 3.0 on rh 9

Hallo!

I am trying to install samba 3.0 on my rh 9 server. The installation of 
samba-common works fine, but when I try to install the samba package I get a 
message that libacl.so.1 and libattr.so.1 is needed by samba.

I have libacl 2.2.3-1 and libattr 2.2.0-1 installed on my system.

What is missing here?
