Hi all.
Download the drivers from nVidia and follow the instructions.
Good luck.

I have just tried to upgrade the video card in one of the RH9 boxes and
now xwindows won't start. No, problem I thought, I did some searching
on the Web and found
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-9-Manual/getting-started-guide/s1-video.html
which says to simply run redhat-config-xfree86 but it simply chokes
because it can't seem to probe the display.
The video adapter that was active (on the motherboard) is a Trident
Cyber (or something like that) and the new one is a GeForce FX 5200.
The new card seems to work fine in Windows so I think it works. I am
not expecting to use the 3D stuff in Linux and I'd be happy to have it
work just as a 800x600 SVGA and give me my graphical desktop back.
Any thoughts on how to correct this - short of simply removing the
card?
Kind regards
