SYSTEM HANGS WHILE BOOTING RH 9 . PLZ HELP !!

I have a Asus a7n266-vm MB with built in geforce 2 mx.Iam trying to install from atapi cd rom.I chose autopartitioning & grub as bootloader .My processor is amd athlon xp 2400+.
WHILE BOOTING THE SYSTEM HANGS AT THE MESSAGE 

 
 ACTIVATING SWAP PARTITIONS..................[OK] 
 FINDING MODULE DEPENDENCIES_

PLEASE HELP!!
